MCP Studio

Build an MCP Server to resolve a support ticketacrossJiraSalesforceSnowflake

Tell Nexla the process you want agents to run and the systems it touches. MCP Studio discovers the data across all of them, builds the scoped tools, and delivers one governed MCP server.

01

Connectors (600+)

Handle auth and connectivity to each system.

02

Agentic Probe

Discovers what data is available before anything is built.

03

Nexsets

Governed data products that become MCP tools.

04

Sync API

Exposes Nexsets as Data APIs for reads and API Services for writes.

05

MCP Tools + Actions

Scoped, named tools and write actions assembled from Nexsets for agents to call.

06

MCP Gateway

Routes tool calls, enforces policies, and maintains the audit trail.

Tools built with MCP Studio carry governed, schema-aware data products underneath.
The Gap

Most MCP Servers Are Built for Applications, Not Business Processes

Current MCP implementations expose every available tool to every agent. As that list grows, agents evaluate more options on every request: token consumption rises, tool selection accuracy declines, and governance complexity increases.

A task-specific MCP server solves this by containing only the tools an agent needs for a defined workflow, but building one manually across a process that spans multiple systems, for example Salesforce, Snowflake, and an internal ERP, means identifying data entities in each system, mapping permissions, defining allowed operations, and assembling governed tools one system at a time. MCP Studio replaces that with a conversation: describe the outcome, and MCP Studio probes connected systems, discovers available data and permissions, selects the minimum required tools, and generates a production-ready server with governance enforced from the start.

Discover what data exists across each connected system
Understand fields, objects, and permissions per account
Write tool definitions that match what agents need to do
Wire up auth, credentials, and token management
Define governance rules for who can access what
Keep it current as schemas and permissions change
Weave in internal playbooks and process documentation
How It Works

From Systems and Credentials to a Working MCP Server

MCP Studio is conversational. You describe what you need. Nexla handles the discovery, configuration, and assembly.

01

Describe your purpose

Tell MCP Studio what business process you want to automate with AI. The purpose you describe identifies the systems and shapes how tools are scoped and named.

“Let agents read open pipeline and flag at-risk deals”
02

Select your systems

Provide credentials to suggested systems, or add specific systems you want to include. MCP Studio accepts any source Nexla connects to.

03

Nexla probes and discovers

The Agentic Probe discovers available objects, fields, and permissions for the credentials provided. You confirm what is included.

04

Tools and server assembled

MCP Studio creates Data Products with LLM-authored docs, builds scoped tools, and assembles a governed MCP server.

The Output

A Governed MCP Server, Ready to Connect to Claude or Any Agent

Working MCP Server

Scoped to the systems and purpose you specified, ready to connect.

Governed Nexsets

Schema, documentation, and access controls for every source included.

Named MCP Tools

LLM-authored descriptions that agents can discover and invoke.

Managed Auth

Token refresh, credential rotation, and expiry handled by the control plane.

Full Audit Trail

Every agent interaction with the assembled tools is logged and attributable.

Universal Compatibility

Works with Claude, any MCP orchestrator, and custom agent workflows.

No additional MCP infrastructure. The same governance layer that covers your Nexla pipelines covers the server MCP Studio creates.

Built for Teams Putting Agents into Production

Cross-system agentic workflows

When a business process spans more than one system, MCP Studio assembles cross-system MCP servers from a single conversational setup. One server can span Salesforce, Snowflake, and an internal ERP.

Agents in production, no MCP plumbing

Business and IT teams skip writing tool definitions, managing connector config, or building server scaffolding. Provide the systems, credentials, and purpose, and the infrastructure is handled.

Standardize agent data access

Platform and AI teams get MCP servers governed by the same policies, audit logs, and lineage as the rest of Nexla, so governance stays consistent across every agent.

Nexla does not lock the MCP server to a single AI vendor. The server is built to the open MCP standard and connects wherever MCP is supported.

🔒 Built to Be Governed

Enterprise Governance, by Default

Every MCP server MCP Studio creates inherits the shared Nexla governance layer, the same one that covers your pipelines.

Fine-grained access control

Define exactly which tools an agent can call and which actions are allowed per system.

Credentials never exposed

Auth lives in Nexla. Agents call tools, never raw credentials, tokens, or secrets.
