What is Data Onboarding? 

Data onboarding is a process of converting offline data to an online environment. 

The term customer data onboarding was created when offline events, customer interactions in retail stores generated data that could be matched or updated with the online customer data set. Product data onboarding replaces the manual process of onboarding product catalog data with an automated solution of inputs from sources.
